Baby’s Breath Workshop FAQs

  • The In-Person workshop has a section that satisfies Part 2 of the AAP NRP Provider course - Essentials & Advanced. The Virtual workshop does not satisfy AAP NRP requirements for their Part 2 - Instructor-Led Event.

  • Register for the Baby’s Breath Workshop HERE

    If you don’t need the AAP NRP “card”, then you are all set. If you need the AAP NRP Training, you will need to register with them and complete their Part 1 prior to attending Baby’s Breath. You can register HERE for AAP NRP. If you have completed AAP NRP before, LOGIN. If you have not, click REGISTER NOW and it will prompt you to sign up for the Provider Course. Register and complete the course online prior to Baby’s Breath.

  • If you required to have the AAP NRP course for your CPM, an accredited midwifery school, your state license, or employer - you likely will need all the lessons (Advanced) 1-11. Contact your organization to discuss your individual requirements before registering with AAP NRP.

  • No, it provides a comprehensive curriculum for midwifery led newborn transition and resuscitation in the community setting - with 10 CE from the course and membership to BB for 2 years (20+ additional CE opportunities) but does not satisfy AAP NRP requirements for their provider course.

  • I am no longer able to travel to teach since returning to my private home birth practice full time. However, I am holding an instructor event in May 2026 that may make this curriculum more accessible in your local area.
